A gifted singer his entire life, Andy got the itch to perform Rock and Roll, and became the lead singer and founding member of Denver’s Whiskey Dawgs from 2004-2007. He also fronted another classic/modern rock project known as FUSE from 2007-2012. Putting the mic down temporarily to focus on his finance career and family, Andy never gave up on the idea of performing again. Sitting in with various other projects throughout the years, and realizing that performing the blues was always his real passion, his long time friend, Hazel Miller introduced him to the folks at Roots Music project and The Disruptors came to life! Andy’s wide range of vocals and terrific stage presence energize a crowd, and bring the dance floor to life.

I was born in Chicago, 19 and 47. Growing up in the ‘50s and ‘60s, I listened to all kinds of music – classical, R&B, DooWop, Rock’N’Roll, etc. I started playing guitar when I was in high school. My brother Dennis came home from band practice one day and said, “Hey Bob! I told everyone you could play bass!” I tried it and that was that. In the mid-1960s, we spent many nights at places in Chicago where it was kind of scary for kids like us to go, but we heard the real players playing the real stuff. What we were hearing spoke to us like nothing we had ever heard, and it stuck. I’ve been playing the Blues ever since. I came to Boulder in 1968, and in the past 55 years I’ve had the great fortune to play with and hang out with very talented musicians and really great friends, as well as some pretty well-known folks who were just passing through and I got lucky. I was also very lucky to be with a band that opened for Elvin Bishop at Tulagi one night in 1973 – that’s where I met Cynthia. I can’t imagine having made this journey without her, and it’s far from over!

Dan Pem was born and raised in Boulder, Colorado. He started playing the Saxophone at 9 years of age. Benefiting from an Elementary School music program and private lessons he developed a love for jazz at an early age. After High School he studied Saxophone and music performance at Kansas University. Performing in the thriving local music scene as well as regional, national and international gigs with bands ranging from jazz, funk, rock and reggae and everything in between he was involved in music for over 30 years while living in Lawrence, Kansas. He is now back in Boulder and making his way into the local music scene as well as Denver and the front range.

Jon Oren is a drummer / vocalist born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania and largely based out of San Diego, California for most of his career where he played in Jazz, Swing, Gypsy Jazz and Latin bands, as well as, ethnic Italian / Siclian, French and German bands. He toured Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado with a country band and the Northwest and Canada with an R&B show band. He spent two years in Germany playing clubs in Stuttgart and gigs all over Germany. He worked on cruise ships for two years on Royal Caribbean and Princess Cruise Lines where he toured Europe, the Caribbean, Alaska and Hawaii. Since moving to Colorado he’s played in many projects as the house drummer @ RMP / The Roots Music Project including:  Rex People and X Factr, Ain’t No Mountain High Enough / A Motown / Stax revue,  Christopher Morse, the Robyn Lyn Band, the Desperados, DFK and the Ill Intentions, Paul Soderman and the Ogs and most recently The Disruptors with Andy Walls.  He still plays Jazz whenever possible. *Life is good*

Rick's musical background began in Austin, Texas during the late 1970’s. His early club performing days had Rick mixed in the likes of Stevie Ray Vaughn’s Double Trouble, members of the 5-time Grammy award-winning group Christopher Cross and members of the Eric Johnsons band. Rick’s interest in songwriting and influential Rocky Mountain artists such as Joe Walsh, Dan Fogelberg and Stephen Stills led him to Colorado where he has been a resident for the last 40 years. Working with multiple artists has opened many new doors to his own talents. Rick had always been the “lead man” in previous bands, and this has allowed him to showcase his talent of building the songs and filling open spaces with his skillful lead guitar playing and brilliant harmonics. Rick is temporarily on a break from several songwriting projects for agencies out of Austin, TX and Nashville, TN as he sees huge potential for current projects with The Disruptors, Storyville Tribute Band and DFK and the Lab Rats. He also enjoys developing future stars from the Colorado songwriting community.

Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Barry’s first signs of musical talent came at the early age of four when he began playing the vibraphone and marimbas. At age 12, he picked up the keyboard and never looked back. By age 18, he was on the road playing professionally with various cover and original bands. With the legendary Clive Davis (then producer of Santana) as a booking agent, Barry and the band were opening for the likes of Elvin Bishop, Renaissance, and David Bromberg. After nearly 10 years of life as a touring musician, Barry began to pursue another profession; this time in the medical field and receiving his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree in 1983. Barry could never get away from his love of music and began playing the drums as well in 1999. Barry has played with several classic rock bands in and around Boulder, Colorado which he has called home for the last 40 years.
